Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing paper or cardboard, which enhances the yields of papermaking sludge and draining sludge to enable the recycling of the papermaking sludge and the draining sludge having not been used in the conventional paper-producing industry as a papermaking raw material. SOLUTION: This method for producing the paper or the cardboard is characterized by (a) compounding and mixing a pulp slurry with papermaking sludge, (b) adding cellulase, preferably a cellulase and/or hemi-cellulase-containing enzyme composition, (c) performing a beating treatment, and (d) producing the paper or cardboard.
