Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for effectively manufacturing a high octane number gasoline distillate, especially, the yield of one ring aromatic hydrocarbon, especially of an aromatic hydrocarbon with 8 carbon atoms being high, by using higher aromatic hydrocarbon oil such as LCO or the like as a raw material. SOLUTION: Manufacturing method for a gasoline distilled into a high octane value, includes the first step of using a high aromatic hydrocarbon oil as a raw material, the second step of hydrogenating the produced oil got from the first step, and the third step of fractionally distillating the decomposed oil obtained from the second step, and the hydrogenating treatment conditions are controlled so that the polycyclic aromatic conversion rate calculated by a predetermined formula by the hydrogenating is 70% or more and the aromatic conversion rate calculated by a predetermined formula is 2.0 or less in hydrogenating treatment process.
