Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for pulling down single crystals having complicated cross-sectional shapes. SOLUTION: A surface, in which an oozing-out hole opening for a raw material melt 9 is formed, under a crucible 11 is made an inclined surface, and the opening is arranged above the inclined surface. Patterns corresponding to cross-sectional shapes of single crystals are formed on the inclined surface. A seed 7 has a surface contacting with the melt 9 having one pattern formed corresponding to the cross-sectional shape of one single crystal, and the contact surface having the same inclination as the crucible 11 side. In seed touch, after the uppermost one of the seeds 7 is brought into contact with the lowermost one of the patterns of the crucible 11, the seeds 7 are moved parallelly along the inclined surface, and the seeds are finally disposed so as to face the respective patterns to complete the seed touch over the pattern entire region.
