Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an aluminum titanate-based ceramic sintered compact where the shrinkage factor in sintering is reduced and the aluminum titanate-based ceramic sintered compact. SOLUTION: There are provided the method for producing the aluminum titanate-based ceramic sintered compact where zirconia powders of 5-20 pts.wt. and 100 pts.wt. of aluminum titanate-based ceramic powders are mixed, formed and sintered, and the aluminum titanate-based ceramic sintered compact obtained by the method.
