LAPPING AMOUNT ADJUSTING METHOD FOR SHEAR CUT-TYPE SLITTER USING ROUND BLADE AND DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lapping amount adjusting method for a shear cut-type slitter using a round blade which can automatically adjust a lapping amount, and a device. SOLUTION: Lapping amount adjustment for a shear cut-type slitter using the round blade is performed by automatically measuring a diameter of a knife changed at the time of knife replacement by using a cutting edge detection sensor and by calculating a knife position to attain the desired lapping amount on the basis of the measured knife diameter and a cutting edge detection point of the cutting edge detection sensor. In the shear cut-type slitter using the round blade, the diameter of the replaced knife can be automatically or semi-automatically measured, and load for knife replacement can be very simplified because lapping amount of upper and lower blades can be automatically adjusted.
