MOTION IMAGE PICKUP APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motion image pickup apparatus for reducing the capacity of a frame buffer memory for storing pickup image data and stably transferring the image data. SOLUTION: The motion image pickup apparatus includes an image compressing section 105 for generating compressed image data by compressing the data included in a predetermined region of the image data, an output interface section 107 for outputting the compressed image data to the outside, and a monitoring section 111 for monitoring the output state of the compressed image data from the output interface section 107. The image compressing section 105 generates the compressed image data by compressing the data of the predetermined region whose area becomes small as the output state becomes worse.
