Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable liquid crystal display device in an FFS mode in which short-circuiting between signal lines and scanning lines is suppressed. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device 10 is characterized in that, in the liquid crystal display device in the FFS mode, the lower electrodes 14 cover the surface of the common wiring 13 between the adjacent pixels, conductive material layers 14b which are wider than width of the signal lines 17 and the scanning lines 12 and have the same composition as those of the lower electrodes 14 are formed on the surfaces of the scanning lines 12 at intersection parts between the scanning lines 12 and the signal lines 17, and the conductive material layers 14b are extended to a part at 10 μm or more from side edges of the signal lines.
