Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the connection strength in the axial direction of a connecting device of a vehicle seat and a connected member. SOLUTION: The connecting device (reclining device) of the vehicle seat functions as a rotation-stoppable rotary shaft device for connecting a seat back and a seat cushion. A ratchet 10 is connected to the frame of the seat back, and a guide 20 is rotatably assembled to the ratchet 10 and connected to the frame (cushion frame 3f) of the seat cushion. Between the guide 20 and the ratchet 10, poles 30. configuring the rotation stop structure are disposed. A holding member 70 prevents the detachment in the axial direction of the ratchet 10 and the guide 20. The cushion frame 3f abuts on the guide 20 in the radial direction and integrally joined to the guide 20 and a holding member 70 in the state of being clamped by them in the axial direction.
