LID OPENING/CLOSING MECHANISM OF ELECTRONIC DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent breakage of a lid in the case of a wrong operation upon a closing process of the lid of an electronic device in which the lid is supported on a cabinet via a sliding type pivotally supporting mechanism, and movable in a reciprocating movement between a fully closed position, a sliding position that the lid is slid from the fully closed position, and a fully opened position that the lid is turned from the sliding position. SOLUTION: In a lid opening/closing mechanism of the electronic device, the sliding type pivotally supporting mechanism is equipped with a pivot portion 23 installed protruding in the base end portion of the lid 2, arm plate portions 6, 61 formed in the cabinet, engagement receiving portions 64 formed in the arm plate portions 6, 61 and to be engaged with the pivot portion 23 of the lid 2 at the fully closed position, the pivot shaft receiving portion 81 which is formed in the arm plate portions 6, 61 to rotatably support the pivot portion 23 of the lid 2 at the sliding position, and a binding portion that is formed in the cabinet and allows sliding of the pivot portion 23, holding the pivot portion 23 of the lid 2 between the arm plate portion 6, 61, while the arm plate portions 6, 61 are elastically deformable in a direction to be separated from the holding portion.
