Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular engine unit and a saddle-riding type vehicle superior in a response to throttle operation, by restraining spitting of fuel to a sub-intake passage with a simple and inexpensive constitution, in the engine unit for enhancing combustion efficiency of the fuel by promoting atomization of the fuel. SOLUTION: An intake pipe 62 connected to a cylinder head 22 forms a part of a main intake passage B3. In a cylindrical body 64, two throttle valves 69A and 69B are arranged at an interval in the flow direction E1 of intake air. The sub-intake passage C1 is formed for branching off from the main intake passage B3 between the two throttle valves 69A and 69B and introducing the intake air to a space in the vicinity of an injector 47 in at least idling. The center line F1 of the sub-intake passage C1 crosses with a surface G2. The surface G2 includes a line segment G1 of connecting one end F2 and the other end F3 of the center line F1 at the shortest distance. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
