SLAT DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slat device capable of setting an ideal angle of slat accurately or setting an ideal angle of slat by coping with various demands and change of environment. SOLUTION: This slat device has a plurality of slats 1 arranged along the vertical direction and capable of swinging in the interlocking relationship and being freely opened or closed and a control part 2 for setting an angle θ of a plurality of slats 1 to shield or take in direct sunlight freely in accordance with the angle θ of the slats. The control part 2 has a mode for setting the angle θ of the slat based on altitude of the sun, slat width (b), slat pitch (p), and slat thickness (t) to make the angle θ of the slat maximum while shielding direct sunlight by the slats 1.
