SENSOR APPARATUS AND INTERMITTENT PROCESSING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capacitance-detection type sensor device, capable of detecting the positional relation of members in which a detection target and a sensor are installed, even if the detection target and the sensor perform intermittent operations with different cycles, and to provide an intermittent processing method thereof. SOLUTION: An AC current is fed to an electrode 13, in accordance with a cycle T1, and an operation for detecting positional relation between the members 100 and 200 is performed at least once at a cycle T2 in which the cycle T1 is superimposed on an ON-period during a predetermined cycle. During the time, from determination by a comparing determining section 26 that the amplitude of an AC current is a predetermined threshold or greater to determination that it is less than the predetermined threshold, the members are in a closed state and a detection operation of the positional relation between the members is executed, in synchronization with the cycle T1. Thus, even when the intermittent operation of the detection target and the intermittent operation of the sensor are executed at different cycles, the intermittent operations can be synchronized when both the members are close.
