Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outdoor luminaire with productivity improved through reduction of the number of components, and aimed at prevention of falloff through drastic improvement of workability at manufacturing and installation. SOLUTION: The outdoor luminaire 10 includes a lighting post 16, a luminaire body 11 fixed to the lighting post 16, and a lamp housed in the luminaire body 11. A string-like body 17 is arranged between the luminaire body 11 and the lighting post 16, with its one end bound to a fixing part 22 fitted to the luminaire body 11, and the other end kept housed in the lighting post 16, and further, bound to a fairly long bar-like body 18 in an axis direction of the lighting post 16.
