SIMULATION DEVICE AND SIMULATION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simulation device for improving accuracy of simulation, and for outputting a proper signal value to a controller, even when the execution cycle of a task to be executed by the controller is shorter than a model arithmetic cycle. SOLUTION: The simulation device 1 is provided with: a model arithmetic part 2 for repeating a model arithmetic operation for calculating the state value of a control object by simulating the control object, in a predetermined model arithmetic cycle; and a signal output part 4 for converting the state value calculated by the model arithmetic part 2 into a signal value, and for outputting it to the controller 7. The simulation device 1 is provided with a state value correction part 51c for correcting the state value on the basis of the past state value during a period until the state value is updated by the model arithmetic part 2. The signal output part 4 outputs a correction state value calculated by the state value correction part 51c into the signal value, and for outputting it to the controller 7.
