Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a pressure loss of engine oil pumped by an oil pump in a V-type internal combustion engine. SOLUTION: This V-type engine includes an engine oil cooler 41 between cylinder banks 12, 13. A main gallery 23 and a sub gallery 24 bored in parallel with a crank shaft A, and an engine oil passage 37 supplying the main gallery and the sub gallery with engine oil pumped by the oil pump are disposed at a section facing the section between the cylinder banks of a cylinder block 4. The engine cooler is connected to the sub gallery and is supplied with engine oil from the sub gallery, and is connected to the main gallery and discharges the engine oil thereto.
