STRUCTURE FOR JOINING BEAMS TOGETHER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make top surfaces of both beams flush with each other, without reference to the way at least one pair of the beam-to-be-joined and the joining beam is joined together. SOLUTION: This structure includes the thick beam-to-be-joined which is equipped with a thick joint piece, the thin beam-to-be-joined which is equipped with a thin joint piece, the thick joining beam which is equipped with a thick top surface plate, the thin joining beam which is equipped with a thin top surface plate, and a spacer with a thickness equivalent to the difference between the thicknesses of the thick and thin joint pieces. The thick joining beam can be joined by bringing a horizontally-elongated horizontal bracket into close contact with an undersurface of the thin joint piece, so as to make the upper end surface of the thick beam-to-be-joined and that of the thick top surface plate flush with each other. The thick joining beam can be joined to the thin beam-to-be-joined in the state of interposing the spacer between the horizontal bracket and the thin joint piece, so as to make the upper end surface of the thin beam-to-be-joined and that of the thick top surface plate flush with each other. The thin joining beam can be joined by bringing a crank-like bracket, elongated with a step, into close contact with the undersurface of the thick joint piece so as to make the upper end surface of the thick beam-to-be-joined and that of the thin joining beam flush with each other. The thin joining beam can be joined by interposing the spacer between the crank-like bracket and the thin joint piece, so as to make the upper end surface of the thin beam-to-be-joined and that of the thin joining beam flush with each other.
