WRINKLE REMOVING DEVICE FOR VEHICULAR STEERING WHEEL COVERED WITH LEATHER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wrinkle removing device for uniformly and efficiently removing wrinkles formed when a vehicular steering wheel is covered with leather, by blowing hot air. SOLUTION: An operation wheel 12 and a position detection rotating body 12i are fixed to a steering wheel mounting/moving device 40, and then moved toward a steering wheel box device 30. When part of the operation wheel 12 reaches the steering wheel box device 30, the hot air is supplied from a duct 28 to the rotating operation wheel 12, removing the wrinkle formed on the leather 14 of the operation wheel 12. When the base end 17 of a spoke of the operation wheel 12 reaches a blow-out port 34, the rotational speed of the operation wheel 12 in the steering wheel box device 30 is adjusted to be lower. When the base end 17 of the spoke moves away from the blow-out port 34, the rotational speed of the operation wheel 12 is adjusted to be higher than that when the base end 17 of the spoke is at the blow-out port 34.
