CONTROLLER AND CONTROL METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller which enables a person to properly operate a load apparatus without incurring a remarkable delay in the charge completion time even in charging a power storage from outside a vehicle. SOLUTION: This controller includes a memory and a control unit, which executes charge processing for controlling power charge from an external power source outside a vehicle to a power storage 150, an electrical equipment controller starting processing for starting an electrical equipment controller if it is determined that staff exists on the vehicle based on the information from a staff detector besides when detecting that the connector 330 of a charge cable 300 is connected to a vehicle based on the information from outside a connector connection detector, charge completion time computing processing for computing a charge completion time based on the state of the electrical equipment and the state of the power storage, storage processing for storing the charge completion time computed by the charge completion time computing processing in the memory, and display processing for displaying the charge completion time stored by the storage processing on a display.
