PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screen that maintains planarity of a screen base material. SOLUTION: The screen has the screen base material that has flexibility, and an extension device 5 that extends and contracts along a first direction (A direction) which is a direction that extends the screen base material, and extends and contracts the screen base material along the first direction. The extension device 5 has: a supporting member 6 that is substantially orthogonal to the first direction, extends along a second direction (B direction) which is along a face of the screen base material, and supports an end edge on a tip side of the first direction of the screen base material; an adjusting mechanism (pantograph linkage) 7 that extends and contracts along the first direction; and a pair of first rod-shaped members 91 and 92 that are attached to the adjusting mechanism 7 substantially symmetrically centering a virtual straight line L1 which passes through an end portion on the tip side of the first direction in the adjusting mechanism 7 and passes along the first direction, and bridge the adjusting mechanism 7 and the supporting member 6, respectively. This maintains an extending direction of the supporting member 6 and an extending direction of the end edge on the tip side of the first direction of the screen base material in a direction along the second direction.
