SCREEN BASE MATERIAL AND SCREEN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screen base material which ensures planarity, and also to provide a screen. SOLUTION: The screen base material 4A which has flexibility and is wound into a roll has a base material body 41 having a reflection face disposed on a front face 411 side and reflects incident light, and on a back face 412 side in the base material body 41, a plurality of extending parts 422 that are respectively arranged along a first direction (A direction) which is a direction that pulls out the screen base material 4A from a wound state, are substantially orthogonal to the first direction, and extend in a second direction (B direction) which is along the back face 412 of the screen base material 4A, are arranged. The plurality of extending parts 422 have rigidity that extends the screen base material 4A in the second direction.
