Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a display panel for filling an electrolyte between electrodes without leaving space by a simple step while providing a partition between electrochemical display elements, and to provide a high-definition display panel. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the display panel includes executing, in this order: a step of forming a partition material layer comprising a material of a partition so as to cover at least a region where the partition is to be formed, of a first substrate; a step of disposing spherical spacers with a prescribed density over the entire region of the partition material layer; a step of bonding the partition material layer to the spacers; and a step of patterning the partition material layer into a prescribed shape to form a partition surrounding at least one electrochemical display element.
