Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an energy saving control device for a cooling facility pump capable of quickly controlling a flow rate and the pressure of fluid to a required value. SOLUTION: The energy saving control device includes the pump, a main pipe connected to the pump and supplied with the fluid from the pump, a plurality of branch pipes branched from the main pipe and supplying the fluids supplied from the main pipe to loads, a plurality of valves provided in the plurality of branch pipes, respectively, and controlling the flow rates of the fluids flowing through the branch pipes, a pressure gauge measuring the fluid pressure of the main pipe, a storage device storing the frequency characteristic of a pump characteristic curve and system characteristic curves of the main pipe and the branch pipes, and a control device calculating, based on the drive frequency characteristic of the pump characteristic curve and the system characteristic curves, a target pressure value of the main pipe when desired flow rates of the fluid flowing through the branch pipes are obtained, and when the flow rates of the fluids flowing through the branch pipes are varied due to the opening and closing of the valves, controlling a drive frequency of the pump so that a measured value of the fluid pressure of the main pipe by the pressure gauge is kept at the target pressure value.
