Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and properly make positional adjustment of a striker caught by a receiving member. SOLUTION: An assisting mechanism comprises the striker 4 installed on a door Ma and a receiving member 1 which is installed in a door frame Fa, moves after catching the striker 4 at a specified outward movement position of the door Ma and assists outward movement of the door Ma to a closing position. The striker 4 is supported on a striker base 5 having an attaching part 5a to the door Ma, in the state of permitting adjustment of a supporting position by an adjusting means 6 in a direction approximately conforming to the turning direction x of the door Ma.
