PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gate which has excellent operability and is provided with a drop bar device having sufficient strength. SOLUTION: The gate includes a gate body 8 and the drop bar device 10 provided in the gate body 8. The drop bar device 10 has a receiving part 1 mounted to the gate body 8, and a drop bar 2 with a circular cross section inserted through the receiving part 1. The drop bar 2 has an engaging part 4 engaged with a part 5 to be engaged provided in the receiving part 1, and a restricting part 3 for restricting the rotation of the drop bar 2 to prevent displacement between the engaging part 4 and the part 5. The part 5 can be elastically deformed and prevents the drop of the drop bar 2. When the drop bar 2 is pushed down, the part 5 is elastically deformed to release the engagement with the engaging part 4. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
