VARIABLE SPACE AND BUILDING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable space and a building which enable a toilet to be surely additionally built when a dweller requires care and the additionally built toilet to be surely adaptable to both cases of right side paralysis and left side paralysis. SOLUTION: This variable space 10 includes a peripheral wall 11 in which an entrance 11a is formed and an earth floor 12. A pit 13 in which a water supply pipe 14 and a water drain pipe 15 are arranged on the upper surface of which the bottom surface part 13a thereof which is lower one step than the earth floor 12 is formed in the earth floor 12. An auxiliary floor 16 on which a toilet bowl 17 is installed in a predetermined direction relative to an entrance 11a can be additionally built at a predetermined height above the earth floor 12. The water supply pipe 14, the water drain pipe 15, and the toilet bowl 17 can be connected between the auxiliary floor 16 and the pit 13. Consequently, the toilet can be surely additionally built in a building, and the toilet bowl can be installed on the auxiliary floor at an optional position and in an optional direction.
