ASSISTING DEVICE FOR CLOSING SLIDING DOOR AND METHOD FOR CONSTRUCTING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assisting device for closing a sliding door capable of being assembled and removed on/from a guide rail simply by reducing time and labor required for its assembly and removal and to provide a method for constructing the same. SOLUTION: In this closing assisting device, a runner 3 for supporting a door panel 1 and a closing assisting unit 4 are stored in the inside of the guide rail 2. The closing assisting unit 4 is constituted by storing a closing structure, a switching structure, and a damper 22 for braking in a case 23. One end of the case 23 is connected with the runner 3, and the other end of the case 23 is supported by a mobile body 38. Each of the case 23 and the mobile body 38 is formed to bring it in/out of the guide rail 2 through a rail opening 2b. Consequently, the mobile body 38 inserted into the inside of the rail is displaced into the attitude allowing it cross the rail opening 2b to assemble the closing assisting unit 4 into the guide rail 2.
