Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat treatment oil composition which can impart excellent brightness to a workpiece even if a sulfur content is low. SOLUTION: The heat treatment oil composition is obtained by blending base oil which has a kinematic viscosity at 40°C of ≥30 mm2/s and contains ≤300 mass ppm sulfur with a tricyclic or more condensation polycyclic aromatic compound in an amount of 0.1 to 5 mass% based on the total quantity of the composition. By performing quenching using the heat treatment oil composition, excellent brightness can be imparted to the workpiece in spite of a low sulfur content. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
