FILLING METHOD AND FILLING GUIDE DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fill a small flat article in a fixed attitude contacting one side surface of a bag at a predetermined position on the inside bottom of the bag in filling a main object to be packaged and the small article in the bag whose both edges are held and hung. SOLUTION: The filling guide device includes a beak-shaped guide member 42 for guiding a packaged object 82 and a small article 81 into a bag 9 and a pressing piece 54 for pressing the small article 81 having reached the bottom of the bag against one side surface of the bag 9. The member 42 has a pair of openable/closable guide pieces 52 and 53 facing each other and move up/down with a hopper positioned above them. Each piece 52 and 53 is opened and closed by a separate driving means. The piece 54 is positioned at the inside of the piece 52 and a predetermined length of the piece protrudes from the bottom end of the piece. The member 42 is inserted in the bag 9, first one guide piece 53 is opened, the small article 81 is dropped between the piece 52 and the piece 54, the piece 52 is opened, the piece 54 presses the small article 81 reached the bottom of the bag and the small article 82 is put in.
