Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface protective film having high stiffness, made thin, having practical adhesiveness, small in the blocking property that a base material layer and a self-adhesive layer adheres and lump occurs when the film is wound roll-like and run out again to be used and exhibiting excellent handling performance. SOLUTION: The surface protective film has a base material layer (A) and a self-adhesive layer (B), wherein the base material layer (A) comprises a rubber-modified styrene copolymer (A1) or a mixture of a styrene copolymer (A2) with a styrene-based block copolymer (A3) as a main structural component, and the self-adhesive layer (B) uses a composition containing a styrene elastomer, a block copolymer comprising a crystalline olefin polymer block and a conjugated diene polymer block, or a noncrystalline α-olefin-based polymer.
