GARBAGE DISPOSAL SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize the adjustment tank and the dehydrator of a garbage disposal system which collects, in an adjustment tank, wastewater discharged from two or more disposers and containing crushed garbage and feeds the wastewater to a dehydrator for dehydration treatment. SOLUTION: An opening 12 is formed in the surface of a sidewall in the upper part of the adjustment tank 1, and a filter 13 is attached inside the opening in a removable way. Only the upper part of the water in the adjustment tank 1 is discharged out of the adjustment tank 1 through the filter 13 so as to increase the garbage containing capacity and the flow rate from the disposers, reduce the amount of wastewater to be fed to the dehydrator and thus improve the dehydration efficiency. A sensor 17 detecting a state that clogging of the filter 13 with garbage causes wastewater in the tank 1 to reach a restrictive water level 16 is arranged to prevent overflow, and output signals from the sensor 17 adjusts discharge of water from the disposers.
