SHEATH AND ENDOSCOPE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily perform operation in a stable attitude on a heart surface even in a state that the heart is kept to beat. SOLUTION: A sheath 1 includes a cylindrical sheath body 12 which has flexibility and in which a medical device is inserted inside along a longitudinal direction, a wing part 13 provided to the distal end part of the sheath body 12 so as to be retractable in a radial direction, and an operation part 14 for protruding/retracting the wing part 13 at proximal end side of the sheath body 12. Thus, the rotation of the distal end part of the sheath body 12 is limited by the wing part 13 protruded in the direction along the heart surface and the attitude of the distal end part of the sheath body 12 is stabilized with respect to the heart surface.
