Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an instep protector or the like that is not bulky on the surface of a shoe because of non-exposure on the surface and that is suitable for application to a shoe like a boot. SOLUTION: The instep protector includes a cover having a roughly half-tubular shaped cross section in which an instep part covering the instep and a shin part covering the lower shin are continuously formed, wherein the lower end edge of both side walls comprising the instep part is formed in a shape curved in the front and rear directions. The instep protector has a projection with the near center of the lower end edge as the lowest point and is made rockable with this lowest point as a support point. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
