AUXILIARY WATER FEEDING DEVICE FOR ENDOSCOPE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary water feeding device for an endoscope which is excellent in the durability without a risk of a auxiliary water feeding conduit being destroyed by the water hammer even if the water feeding pressure is suddenly increased. SOLUTION: A water hammer absorber 50 for absorbing the sudden increase of water pressure when the water feeding pressure in a pressurized water feeding device 40 is suddenly increased is disposed in an area between the pressurized water feeding device 40 and the auxiliary water feeding conduit 10. The water hammer absorber 50 includes a pressure receiving member 54 disposed movably within a water channel in such a way as to slide to the downstream side when receives the water pressure increase on the upstream side, and a spring 56 for applying the action of the resilient repulsion to the pressure receiving member 54 when the pressure receiving member 54 is moved to the downstream side.
