DEVICE AND METHOD FOR TESTING PUMPING OUT OF HEAT TRANSFER GREASE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a testing device and a testing method capable of performing a test for evaluating pumping-out characteristics (resistance) of heat transfer grease used for accelerating heat radiation of a power module, or the like. SOLUTION: The testing device includes: holding members 2, 3 for sandwiching and holding the heat transfer grease subjected to pumping-out evaluation; a drive section 4 for reciprocating the holding members repeatedly along a compression direction 11a for compressing the held heat transfer grease in a thickness direction after applying grease and a decompression direction 11b opposite to the compression direction; and a test temperature setting section 30 for setting the heat transfer grease to evaluation test temperature.
