SOLUTION: This packaging member 1 for a medical instrument is made of a paper material formed able to hold a medical instrument in a box 101 being stored with the instrument in the box 101 for transporting the instrument. The member 1 is provided with a cover part 20 formed to cover and press the instrument stored in the box 101 from the lid side of the box 101.
