KITCHEN KNIFE HOLDER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems of a conventional kitchen knife holder with a preventive measure for falling, problems such as difficulty in taking out a kitchen knife in a type of holder that requires shifting of a jaw top of the knife from an insertion opening after the knife is inserted even if the inserting is easy, trouble in putting a cover on and off in a type of holder that has a cover installed on the part of knife handles, and complicated structure in a type of holder that covers a part of insertion openings and locks. SOLUTION: The holder body having insertion openings for kitchen knives is provided with a cover member installed in a manner freely movable vertically or turnably. In a lower part of a body frame, there are formed vertical guides and lateral guides connected to the upper part of the vertical guide. Also, in a lid member, an upper projection is installed that moves in the lateral guides and the vertical guides, and a lower projection is installed that moves in the vertical guides. Furthermore, in the holder body, a lock groove is provided that engages with a locking piece of the cover member when the cover member is lowered from above. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
