Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle device capable of preventing a specified service utilizing radio communication from being wrongly recognized as being usable by a user. SOLUTION: When a setup card corresponding to another DSRC (dedicated short-range communication) services other than an ETC is inserted, the on-vehicle device determines whether the state is capable of utilizing the ETC (S305). Only when it is determined that the state is a usable state (S305: Yes), is the setup information corresponding to the other DSRC service read from the setup card, and the DSRC service is set to the usable state (S320). Also, when it is not determined that the state is a usable state (S305: No), the fact that the other DSRC service has not returned to the usable state is reported to a user (S325).
