Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recognize a detection target located at an unknown distance while minimizing increase in computational complexity for determining a feature amount, in a detection target determination device. SOLUTION: A control device generates a primary integral image and secondary to n-th integral images (S120). The generated secondary to n-th integral images correspond to reduced images having the resolution equal to that of at least one learning image. Furthermore, a partial region having the size equal to that of the learning image is extracted from the integral images (S130), and weak classifiers are collated with the partial region sequentially (S140). A weighted linear sum is calculated from likelihood levels derived as the collation results for the weak classifiers. When the weighted linear sum is a predetermined threshold value or more, the partial region is identified as a target detection region. The collection of the weak classifiers is carried out with the size of a rectangular region applied in learning. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
