LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY PANEL AND LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE INCLUDING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display panel capable of improving the quality of an image to be displayed, and to provide a liquid crystal display device including the same. SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display panel 1 includes a first substrate 2 having a first through hole formed therein, a second substrate 3 having a second through hole formed therein, a liquid crystal material 4 held between the first substrate 2 and the second substrate 3, a first electrode 2a provided on the first substrate 2, a second electrode 3a provided on the second substrate 3, an outer sealing material 5 provided between the first and second substrates so as to surround the liquid crystal material 4, and an inner sealing material 7 provided between the first and second substrates so as to surround the first and second through holes. A detour region N, in which the first electrode 2a and the second electrode 3a detour due to formation of the first and second through holes, is provided around the inner sealing material 7.
