PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switch device capable of reliably bringing a movable terminal into contact with a fixed terminal. SOLUTION: A movable terminal 74 of a spring terminal 70 comes into contact with a fixed terminal 54 of a terminal base 14 while a striker 88 is locked on a latch 90. Namely, a microswitch keeps an ON state. The movable terminal 74 having a leaf spring function is bent outward. Further, a hemispherical contact 74A on a pointed head of the movable terminal 74 projects outward; and the contact 74A comes in contact with a contact 54A of the fixed terminal 54. Thus, elastic energy is accumulated on the movable terminal 74 while the contact 74A comes in contact with the contact 54A. Therefore, contact force between the movable terminal 74 and the fixed terminal 54 is improved in comparison with the case in which the movable terminal 74 and the fixed terminal 54 are simply brought into contact with each other, and the movable terminal 74 and the fixed terminal 54 can be reliably brought into contact with each other.
