Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an energy-saving support device which gives a sufficient stimulus to consciousness of a user so that the user executes sufficient energy-saving activities. SOLUTION: This is the energy-saving support device which is mounted on a device to be supported (IT equipment) having a power saving mode. The energy-saving support device includes: a use state acquisition means for acquiring information about a use state of the device to be supported including transition of the power saving mode by an operation of the user; an energy saving index calculation means for calculating information about an energy saving index indicating a degree of energy saving effort by the user performed to the device to be supported by applying at least the obtained information about the use state; and an energy saving index output means for outputting the calculated energy saving index information.
