DRIVING SUPPORT DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving support device capable of suppressing a driver from becoming perplexed by the interference of two driving supports. SOLUTION: The driving support device determines whether or not a self-vehicle is able to pass through a front traffic light intersection with a green light by acceleration (acceleration ON)-guiding the self-vehicle. When determining that the self-vehicle is able to pass through the front traffic light intersection with the green light by acceleration-guiding the self-vehicle, the driving support device executes an acceleration guiding function with an accelerator indicator in order to encourage a driver to accelerate in a section in front of the traffic light intersection. Meanwhile, when determining that the self-vehicle is not able to pass through the front traffic light intersection with the green light even by acceleration-guiding the self-vehicle, the driving support device executes a red light entry preventing function with an alarm in order to encourage the driver to decelerate or stop in the section in front of the traffic light intersection.
