Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide compatibility between comfortableness and energy saving in an air conditioner providing a temperature swing to be temperature change patterns different during temperature rising and temperature dropping. SOLUTION: A variable air volume unit 5 is equipped with a switching means for sequentially switching control of ventilation amounts at predetermined timing so as to repeat a temperature change pattern wherein temperature change of a corresponding zone is asymmetric in temperature rising and in temperature dropping centered on a change point of these, and such that phases of the temperature change patterns are sequentially shifted per each zone. Through before and after switching by the switching means, a total air blowing amount of adding up air blowing amounts from each outlet 4 is retained at a substantially constant without stopping air blowing from each outlet 4 during operation of the air conditioner 2.
