Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent electric abuses and lowering of waste treatment capacity even if conductive deposits exist in molten glass, make exchange of a melting tank and heating electrodes or the like easy, retain an exchange part at the minimum requirement, and enable smooth glass solidification treatment of wastes. SOLUTION: The melting furnace for waste glass solidification treatments is equipped with heating electrodes for directly turning on electricity, in which a melting tank 10 is composed by combining a furnace bottom bath wall part 12 which is formed by stacking refractory bricks conically and a cylindrical upper bath wall part 14 which consists of a heat resistant alloy continuing to the upper part of the furnace bottom bath wall part, and the heating electrodes consist of a segment electrode 30 having an end face arc shape which is formed by vertically dividing a cylinder into plurality and arranged cylindrically with a space at the inside of the upper bath wall part, a columnar electrode 32 of a hollow structure which is hung down at the center in the melting tank and protrudes the end part into a spindle shape, an auxiliary electrode 34 which makes the end part of the columnar electrode as a counter electrode and is arranged circumferentially in the same surface as the furnace bottom bath wall part, and a funnel-like electrode 36 of an integration type with an outlet which makes the end part of the columnar electrode as a counter electrode and is arranged at the furnace bottom.
