Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walking beam type carrying device for carrying a greater number of steel pate coils while easily, inexpensively and variably expanding them. SOLUTION: A walking beam 12a is pivotally connected to one carrying element 14a having only one sub frame 15, and a joint 13 as a connecting element transmits vertical force and horizontal force and the horizontal motion of the walking beam 12a to the carrying element. The carrying element undertakes the function of a second walking beam which carries the steel plate coils 2 to be carried with tact feed, together with the main walking beam.
