WASTE COLLECTION BOX

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste collection box easy of locking operation for preventing a cover from being unexpectedly blown up by wind pressure. SOLUTION: A receiving tool 18 is fixed to the front end side of the cover 3 into a forward protruded shape, and a hanging tool 19 is mounted on the upper end side of a front panel 5 so as to be rotatable around a shaft 20 in a vertical direction and elevatable by a predetermined stroke. A hook hole 23 is provided in the hanging tool 19 for engaging/disengaging with/from the receiving tool 18 with the vertical rotation of the hanging tool 19, and a recessed portion 24 is provided in the upper edge of the receiving tool 18. The hanging tool 19 moves down with its dead weight under the condition that the receiving tool 18 engages with the hook hole 23, and then it falls in and engages with the recessed portion 24 of the receiving tool 18.
