SOLUTION: The method of forming the dry coating film 11 which is formed on the outer surface of a container 10 composed of a platinum material and is for forming the fired coating film by arranging the alumina castable 14 around it and then firing it includes: a process of preparing slurry containing glass powder and ceramic powder; a process of applying the slurry on the outer surface of the platinum material container 10 and forming an inorganic material film 12; and a process of applying a water repellent 13 onto the surface of the inorganic material film 12.
