Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid electrolytic capacitor which can reduce inductance to acquire low impedance characteristics in a high frequency range, with a manufacturing method which is easy, and the strength of a positive electrode body being high. SOLUTION: A rod-like or plate-like valve action metal having a smooth surface without the enhancement of area ratio is used as a positive electrode body 1. Both ends of the positive electrode body are taken as positive-electrode parts; a dielectric layer including an oxidized coating is formed on the surface of central region of the positive electrode body; and a solid electrolyte, graphite, and a silver layer are sequentially formed on the dielectric layer to form a negative-electrode part 14.
