SUBSTRATE FOR LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE, LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE EQUIPPED WITH THE SAME AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substrate for a liquid crystal display device with which a display device being used for a display part of information instrument or the like and having a high luminance and preferable display characteristics can be obtained, to provide a liquid crystal display device equipped with the substrate for liquid crystal display device, and to provide a method of manufacturing the substrate for liquid crystal display device. SOLUTION: Each pixel is demarcated by gate bus lines 25 extending in the left and the right direction and drain bus lines 26 extending in the vertical direction. TFTs are formed in the vicinity of intersections of the respective bus lines 25, 26, and resin overlap parts 32 for shielding the TFTs from light are formed above the TFTs. No black matrix (BM) is formed on a common electrode substrate arranged in a face-to-face relationship with a TFT substrate 8, and the respective bus lines 25, 26 and the resin overlap parts 32 formed on the TFT substrate 8 function as a BM.
