Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a cyclic olefin-based resin foam regardless of heat resistance of the cyclic olefin-based resin. SOLUTION: The cyclic olefin-based resin foam is produced by the method which includes an impregnation step of impregnating the cyclic olefin-based resin with an organic solvent having affinity to the cyclic olefin-based resin, and a foaming step of drying the cyclic olefin-based resin after the impregnation step at a drying temperature at which saturated vapor pressure of the organic solvent is 100-200 mHg. The drying temperature is set to be lower by 30-80°C than the glass transition point of the cyclic olefin-based resin. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
